Emory University Athletics is proud to announce its new partnership with Rocket Alumni Solutions, the official digital and interactive partner for the Emory Eagles.
Rocket Alumni Solutions has an exciting portfolio of recognizing classic athletic memories to make those highlights come alive through touchscreen, digital, and interactive opportunities. The traditional wall display will enable those in the Woodruff PE Center to search for various individual and team awards while the digital software will allow for the ability to view while both on and off campus. The quality of Rocket Alumni Solutions' work matches the storied and proud history of Emory Athletics.
Chase McKee, Founder and CEO of Rocket Alumni Solutions stated, “The Rocket team is thrilled to partner with Emory University to enhance the program’s digital recognition both online and within its facilities. The Emory Eagles have a sustained history of excellence in both athletics and academics including many national championship teams, All-Americans, UAA titles, Academic All-Americans and Distinguished Alumni. As partners, we will work to highlight these achievements in new and exciting ways through cutting edge interactive technologies. Rocket Alumni Solutions looks forward to the continued success of athletics at Emory!"
Recognizing that wall space is rapidly dwindling at the Woodruff PE Center, and with an eye towards the future, part of the project will entail taking down the All-America plaques that have been placed on the hallway walls of the facility since its opening in 1983. From there, the plaques will be distributed to those honorees.
The digital touchscreen display will be housed in the revamped Doc Partin, Sr., Timeline area, located on the 2nd floor of the WoodPEC. It will highlight Emory Athletics’ individual and team accomplishments, including national championship teams, All-Americans, Hall of Fame honorees, and NCAA Postgraduate Scholars. The timeline area will also recognize Clyde Partin, Sr., who is considered the architect of Emory Athletics and physical education at Emory.
“We are excited about teaming up with Rocket Alumni and the possibilities that this project has on a number of levels,” stated Emory Athletics Director Keiko Price. “In addressing the present and future challenges that we face at the WoodPEC in recognizing the many accomplishments of our student-athletes, Rocket provides state-of-the art solutions that will allow us to continue the honoring those of the past, present and for years to come in a first-class manner. To work together with the company that values our mission and vision, student-athletes, and is cutting edge is exciting."
About Emory Athletics
Emory University has a broad-based intercollegiate athletic program with over 400 student-athletes comprising the school's 19 varsity sports. Emory competes at the NCAA Division III level. The distinguishing factor in comparing Division III programs to Division I & II institutions is that Division III athletics feature athletes who receive no financial aid related to their athletic skills. Emory is a member of the University Athletic Association (UAA). Other institutions comprising the eight-team league include Brandeis University, Carnegie Mellon University, Case Western Reserve University, New York University, University of Chicago, University of Rochester and Washington University.
